A map showing the regional areas of the California Forest Conservation Plan. This map shows California, the Klamath Basin in Oregon, and the Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit in Nevada. The map is broken out into six areas. One region, called the Northern Region, is shaded in green and encompasses the Klamath Basin in Oregon plus 12 California counties, including Colusa, Del Norte, Glenn, Humboldt, Lake, Lassen, Mendocino, Modoc, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama, and Trinity. The light green shaded area is called the Sierra Region and includes El Dorado, Alpine, Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne, Mono, Mariposa, Madera, Tulare, Kern, Inyo, Plumas, Butte, Sierra, Yuba, Nevada, Lassen, and Placer counties. The Bay Counties, Central Valley, Coastal, and Southern regions are shaded in blue, tan, teal, and orange respectively.
